SIPS is pleased to announce the promotion of Joshua Miller to Partner, effective July 1, 2020. Joshua has been based in the firm’s Shanghai office since 2014.
Joshua began his career assisting multinational corporations in protecting their IP rights in China in 2005.
He has extensive experience in both enforcement and prosecution of trademarks, as well as advising on other types of IP rights.

Joshua is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
Before joining the firm, Joshua was an associate with international law firms in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
Joshua received his J.D. from New York University School of Law, and graduated magna cum laude from Hunter College with a B.A. in History.
Joshua was born in York, Pennsylvania and has two daughters with his wife, Ratree.
